LIBERTY is a radiator based on cast iron radiators made and widespread in France at the end of the 19th century, a period in which the Art Nouveau artistic movement dominated.

The original model was really very popular and its main feature is the rounded shape.

This reproduction is very precise and sophisticated.

Close to Apelle, however, it features lighter decorative elements and in smaller quantities.

Features of Liberty cast iron radiator

There are three heights available: 47 cm | 77cm | 96 cm.

The product can also be purchased in different finishes: cast iron grey, the most classic, but also refined colors such as white, gold, bronze, black. And not only that: the radiator can be customized in any RAL colour, both matt and glossy.

The prestige of these cast iron radiators is given not only by their aesthetic appearance, but also by their construction. They are subjected to several steps, all performed with maximum efficiency: a rigorous casting technique, sandblasting and painting.

You can notice it by touching them: the cast iron is in fact smooth and has an excellent finish.

The production is carried out to a very high quality standard and the radiators are all thoroughly tested before being delivered.

They are cast one at a time and tested in water to check for any air leaks.

They are then packed in wooden crates, palletized and delivered.

LIBERTY is a range of radiators that are versatile in size and elegant in finish.

The elements have an internal thickness of 4 0 5 mm, far greater than other radiators. This guarantees solid thermal inertia.

Compared to other products on the market, Liberty has a unique quality-price ratio.

The heater is supplied, if required, together with a valve kit, which includes the style valve, corresponding lockshield, breather, plug and any adapters for iron, copper or multi-layer pipes.

Why a cast iron radiator?

Cast iron is a type of iron-carbon alloy also produced by the reduction of iron ore at high temperatures.

Although it cannot be easily molded or shaped, it has exceptional fusibility at moderate temperatures.

Due to these properties, it is widely used in the plumbing and heating industry, where it is considered the material par excellence for radiators.

Cast iron, on the other hand, is an alloy almost similar to steel, but with a higher carbon content, which makes it harder and less subject to thermal expansion.

Thanks to this characteristic, it is suitable for use in applications that undergo temperature variations.

For this reason, cast iron has been used for many years in the production of radiators by melting.

The production process of Liberty radiators, for example, is intriguing and fascinating.

The high carbon content of cast iron also plays an important role in its properties.
