Postdam Radiator in Cast Iron
It is the strong point for any lover of classic design.
Its clear lines, enhanced by cast iron, give each room a unique nostalgic touch.
The minimalism, simplicity and austerity of a specific form of the Potsdam radiator is an alternative to other remarkably decorated cast products.
If you don’t like ornaments and glamor, but what fascinates you is the beauty of cast iron radiators and the appreciation for their qualities.
Postdam Radiator in Cast Iron refers to the solid model of the Köln radiator, but different in the final result.
The rhythmically arranged sections with a unique cast iron structure make Potsdam a refined blend of tradition and classic elegance.
Depending on the finish, it can be combined with any interior.
Finishes such as Burnished, Polished, Antique Brass and Antique Copper, will give the radiator a patina and classic elegance.
Completely painted and opaque finishes highlight its contemporary shape and give a sharp contrast.
The radiator is available in four sizes for each version.
Postdam Radiator in Cast Iron is available in two versions, with floor lamp (on the ground) or suspended, in four sizes.
In the suspended version it can be fixed directly to the wall, while in the floor version the radiator can be positioned anywhere in the room.
The yield of the cast iron radiator depends on the number of modules, in fact it can be made in different widths, depending on the customer’s needs.
Cast iron offers better air quality than modern sheet steel radiators and is almost totally recyclable.
The production is carried out with a very high quality standard, guaranteeing an average duration of 50-60 years and the heaters are all thoroughly analyzed before being delivered.
They are made one at a time in casting and tested in water to check for any air leaks: this is the key to these beautiful products.
–
Compared to other products on the market, Postdam Radiator in Cast Iron has a unique and inimitable quality / price ratio.
It is a range of high quality, long-lasting radiators with very high construction and aesthetic quality, made with the most modern casting technologies on the market today.

ATTENTION: these radiators are very heavy, we recommend that more people lift them and take care of their handling.

Why a cast iron radiator?
Cast iron is a ferrous alloy consisting mainly of iron and carbon, obtained by hot reduction of iron ores.
It is not a malleable or malleable material, but it has excellent fusibility at moderate temperatures.
Over the years it has become a reference material in the thermo-sanitary world and in this case in the world of heating, becoming the radiator par excellence.
Cast iron is an alloy with a composition practically identical to steel, but with a high percentage of carbon, which gives it greater hardness and a lower thermal expansion coefficient.
This fundamental characteristic of cast iron, added to a lubricating effect of carbon, makes it suitable for combinations where there are variations in temperature.
For this reason, cast iron has been used for many years in the construction through the fusion of radiators.
In fact, the production process of these Liberty heaters is as interesting as it is fascinating.
The presence of carbon in large quantities also plays a significant anti-rust function.
Here are some of the fundamental characteristics of this material:
- wear resistance;
- ductile and easily workable with machine tools;
- possibility of creating very complex shapes and worked by simple casting;
- excellent fusibility
- hardness
